September 2020 Update

Dear Residents,

We want to remind everyone Q4 dues are due in October. We are planning to reopen the gym on Oct 1. If you are 15 days delinquent on dues, your pool key will not grant you access to the gym entry. The gym will undergo its standard weekly cleaning. Remember, this is an enter at your own risk situation. We encourage everyone to wipe off the equipment before AND after they use it.

Secondarily, we are opening the clubhouse to rentals starting on October 1. To book an appointment, please call Heritage at 770-451-8171. Our standard weekly cleaning will continue to occur in the clubhouse. Any additional cleaning will be incumbent on the renter.

Below is a list of items we are currently working on. Due to budgeting constraints, some of these items may not be addressed until 2021. Regardless, they are in the pipeline.

  1. During the month of October, we will get new flowers and landscaping at the entrance. This will our regularly scheduled landscaping updates that we contracted with Outdoor Effects. Also, they will begin treating our greenspaces with pre-emergents to cut down on weeds in the spring.
  2. We are getting quotes on painting the exterior of the clubhouse. Once all the quotes are in, we will greenlight the repainting of the exterior. Part of this project will include replacing damaged or rotted fascia and decking. Our goal is to get the exterior refreshed before it gets too cold. Ultimately we want this to be a 2020 project.
  3. We are getting quotes to upgrade our filtration system at the pool. During this past season, we fixed much of the water flow hardware. Now it's time to address the filtration. All of the multiport valves have lost their ability to direct water appropriately. Because of this, our filtration system isn't working efficiently. Along with the replacement of the multiport valves, we will have to restructure much of the ductwork that accompanies these new parts. We will also be looking at the sand in all 4 of the filters as well. We are certain they are past due for a refresh.
  4. We are getting quotes on the resurfacing of the back tennis courts and basketball court. We are likely to use Signature Tennis (who did the frontcourts). This will be a Spring 2021 project.
